an august hello
I know its been a while since we’ve updated personably through tumblr, and I thought I saw some cobwebs hanging about on here. Thought I’d breathe some life.
Well dear ones,
Ive been asking myself these questions of late, and I thought I would share.
Whom havent you forgave? Why does she cause you to compare? What about that triggers a major blood-pressure-rising-temper-flare? What are you drowning out with loud music and constant T.V. noise?
Owch.
To say the least, its been an untidy adventure with a string of questions like these.
Heart check.
Every so often, I have to stand back from life and check out what is going on in there and be intentional with my prayer time in order for my heart and everything else (particularly mind & mouth) to be squared away to make a better impact for the Kingdom.
Kingdom.
Yes, it all connects. Guarding, checking in with, and careful with my heart all orients me to being incredibly MORE kingdom minded. I cannot impact the world for the sake of the Lord and His Kingdom with a terribly jealous heart, gossipy mouth, and comparing thought life. Therefore, every now and then again—-and again I must check in. Sometimes more often than not—-
Kingdom minded?
It means literally being infected with this unshakeable idea to be Christ to anyone and everyone—-not for the sake of feeling good that particular moment, no it is far greater than that, it is for the sake of His name. Only.
This is the reason we are here on this earth; in order to bring glory to His name.
So lets.
Heart checked today, ladies?
